Example from the field
Tarishi Jain — An entrepreneur who would choose handmade items over anything else. In 2015, when she was pregnant with her daughter, her mother-in-law knitted a frock that she was completely taken by; skilled in knitting and crocheting during her school days, she decided to take it up again and made a frock for her daughter in two days. Friends and acquaintances began requesting knitted items for their infants, and the growing demand pushed her to find more people who knew knitting and crocheting — and to see that a venture could support women working from their homes. That led to 'Ajoobaa' in 2018, a start-up based in Sonipat, Haryana, selling handmade wool crochet and knitted wear for children up to four years old; her husband Nivesh later quit his job to look after operations. The source says Ajoobaa now gets about 4,000 orders a month, dressed at least 20,000 children in a year, works with 112 artisans — mostly homemakers — and had an annual turnover of INR 1.4 crore.

The growth path names 'Crochet Lace Maker – Accessories' although this card is for furnishings. One institute is printed as 'Govt. skill wavomg amd Handlooms Institute, Bangalore'; the name is too garbled to identify, so it is not listed. 'National Institute of Design (NTD)' is corrected to NID. The short link to the salary source contains a character that cannot be read with certainty (l or I), so it is not shown.
Eligibility, fees, exam patterns and admissions change often. Always verify current details on official institute, exam-body or government websites before making decisions.
